*This cup is designed for practice and cannot hold menstrual blood. For actual use, please choose the "Standard Cup" or "Full Moon Cup".
Standard Cup│Can hold 20ml of menstrual blood.
Non-porous design prevents leakage. Graduated lines on the cup are convenient for women to observe the flow of menstrual blood for self-health management. The graduated lines on the cup are in the following order: 10ml / 20ml.
*It is recommended that beginners start with the standard cup and change it frequently on days with heavy menstrual flow.
Full Moon Cup│Can hold up to 30ml of menstrual blood.
Non-porous design prevents leakage. The cup has a scale for women to observe the flow of menstrual blood for self-health management. Graduated lines on the cup: 10ml / 20ml / 30ml.
*If you feel that the bottom ring is too long when using a standard cup, please switch to a full moon cup with a shallower ring.
How to assess the amount of menstrual blood?
"Judgement of "Tampon Users
The flow rate of each brand of tampon is different, but all of them are based on the international standard of absorbency (droplet gauge), you can refer to the flow rate label on the package to sum up the amount of menstrual blood you have in a single day.
"Judgement of "Tampon Users
The night-use type is about 10ml and the day-use type is about 5ml. The actual absorption amount varies according to individual usage habits, but it can still be roughly calculated as the amount of menstrual blood in a single day.
How to put in your cup?
1. Prepare │ Clean your hands thoroughly with mild detergent and warm water. 2.
2. Fold the cup │ Fold the cup inwards to make the cup leak-proof and to ensure that the menstrual blood does not leak out (the cup needs enough air to open, so try not to pinch it too tightly at first, and let the inside of the cup fill up with some air, so that the cup will not be sealed and unable to open!)
3. Preparation Position│Squat, or sit on the toilet with your legs apart, or step on the edge of the toilet or bathtub with one foot, use any of the above positions that you are best able to apply force.
* Remember to make good use of the pre-pressurised folds on the body of the cup, and fold the cup in the way you like it best, so that you can easily push the cup into the vagina.
4. Insertion │ Hold the folded cup tightly with your thumb and forefinger, then use your other hand to separate the labia and slowly insert the cup. 5.
5. Position Confirmation│Wait until the pull ring at the bottom of the cup is completely in the vagina, then stop pushing in. You can use your vaginal muscles to clamp the cup to help the cup move to the right position with your vaginal muscles.
How do I know if the position is correct?
Has it not been placed correctly?
If there is spillage during use, it means it is not finished. Until you have gained enough experience to judge whether the cup is fully extended or not, it is recommended to use cloth pads to prevent menstrual blood from accidentally leaking onto your personal clothing.
Confirm fit
Wrap your fingers around the cup to make sure it fits snugly against the vaginal wall.
Rotate
Gently rotate the cup from front to back and pull it up and down. If there is suction, the cup has been inserted successfully. The cup is not designed to open all the way, as it is soft and folds over in the vagina, but the harder rim at the front will open up to fit snugly against the vaginal wall, allowing menstrual blood to flow into the cup.
Where is the cup positioned when inserted into the vagina?
The cup, as a container for menstrual blood, is positioned relatively lower and closer to the vaginal opening than a tampon, but it is also located in a nerve-free area of the vagina, so you won't feel anything when it is placed correctly.
